晚清末年，政局腐败、民不聊生，在美国受教育的宋查理（宋嘉树）凭借他在西方所学的先进知识，资助孙中山发动辛亥革命，推翻清朝政府，终结了中国持续两千年的封建统治。
宋查理的三个女儿自幼在美国学习成长。成年后，大姐宋霭龄嫁给中华民国财政部长孔祥熙，二姐宋庆龄不顾父亲反对追随嫁给孙中山（孙文），小妹宋美龄最终嫁给蒋介石。三姐妹历经辛亥革命、陈炯明叛变……
In the late Qing Dynasty, when the political situation was corrupt and the people were poor, Charlie Song (Song Jiashu), who was educated in the United States, used the advanced knowledge he learned in the West to fund Sun Yat-sen to launch the Xinhai Revolution, overthrow the Qing government, and end China's feudal rule that lasted for two thousand years.
